The Central Chess Club New Year party traditionally gathered well-known grandmasters with their families and CFR friends.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, young guests were amused by \u201cMasha and the Bear\u201d characters, while a year ago they saw characters from \u201cAlice in Wonderland\u201d. In 2017, the spotlight of the party were real champions \u2013 the Russian Women\u2019s Chess Team who had won the World and European Team Chess Championships. And in 2019, both Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s national teams showed excellent results at important international chess competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
