Andrey Filatov Awarded the Order of the Legion of Honour

The awards ceremony took place in the Chess Museum on Gogolevsky Boulevard.

On March 2, 2016, His Excellency the Ambassador of France to the Russian Federation Jean-Maurice Ripert awarded President of the Chess Federation of Russia Andrey Filatov with the Order of the Legion of Honour. CFR President became the first award winner among Russian sports leaders.
